Now 9 republican candidates against Sen. Casey, including conservative Sam Rohrer
there are now 9 announced Republican candidates against Sen. Casey for next year's election. The latest was former Rep. Sam Rohrer, who ran against Corbett for the Governor nomination.

"At least eight other Republicans have announced they are running.

Steve Welch, a Chester County biotech entrepreneur who considered a run for Congress in 2010, is in the race, as are Tom Smith, a former coal-company owner from southwestern Pennsylvania, and Tim Burns, who built a pharmaceutical software company and was the GOP nominee for Congress in the 12th District, centered in Johnstown.

Also running: Marc Scaringi, a Harrisburg-area lawyer and former Senate aide; David Christian, a Bucks County veterans' advocate; Laureen Cummings, a Scranton-area tea-party activist; Bedford County pharmacist John Kensinger; and John Vernon, a retired Army colonel from Tioga County."

1. Senator Casey actually works for his constituents, tries to look out for working men and women.

Pat Toomey--forget it--total corporate tool.

If any of these Republicans get elected, they will be just like Pat Toomey. They will have the same big-time financial backers that Toomey had (and still he barely squeaked by Joe Sestak) and will be expected to do the bidding of corporations.

Good luck, Senator Casey. You will have the vote of my family!!!!
