Greensburg Rally
I stopped by tonight to meet up with some Moveon volunteers and hung around for the rally. It was great to see that so many people are energized about this election. I got to shake hands with Allen Kukovich and met many good people. It was also uplifting to see many more people on the Kerry side of the street. It was also great to see someone I knew on the other side of the street and challenge his beliefs and be able to maintain a friendly relationship. I hope we all can be gracious winners on Nov 3rd. I hope that the energy and enthusiasm continues to work toward making our country everything it can be.

1. I was there too -- It was great!
Got there late but it was fabulous! Incredible energy -- now carry it on to GOTV for Kerry/Edwards, Allen Kukovich, and all other Democrats tomorrow! NO SPLIT TICKETS this time!

The one thing that made me sick, just sick, was the two bedsheets with slurs against Allen Kukovich spraypainted on them, hanging out of Bushie Headquarters across the street. Considering how hurt I felt, it must be awful for him to see something like that, given all he has done for PA and Westmoreland County. So tomorrow, put that scumbag Regola away for good for Allen's sake ! GOTV!!

Those of us who stayed later... the rally ended a bit sadly when a car and a pickup collided in the intersection. Airbags deployed and there were some cuts, but as far as I could see no life-threatening injuries, thank goodness. After that it was time to go home.

OK guys -- this is it -- make sure you get every democrat you know to the polls! Tell em there will be lines and it may be raining, so bring an umbrella and raincoat, but HANG IN THERE and VOTE DEMOCRAT!!! If we get our votes out WE WILL WIN and this Bush nightmare can be behind us!

GOTV! GOTV!

2. Welcome Demo
I'm glad I missed the accident, I don't enjoy seeing someone elses hardship. I'm stoked and ready to do my job at the polls. We will take our country back. Then the hard work begins. Time for breakfast.

Peace out

I got there around 4:00pm when it was slow. It was so exciting to see things picking up during the night and the HUGE turnout for the rally.

I was one of the people standing behind Kukovich holding the big Kerry banner while he talked. I've gotta say, as I walked back to my car, I had to wipe a few tears from my eyes. It was a very emotional experience for me and a memory forever engraved.

I was shocked to see Kerry lost Westmoreland. The honks, the turnout, the people, the excitement...I was certain Kerry would take Westmoreland.

Oh well, he took the state. :)
