Any Edwards supporters here?
I hope it's ok for me to post here. I'm from Maryland (but I love South Carolina.) I was just wondering if we had any South Carolinian Edwards' supporters here.

DUer Ninja just posted a thread in the Edwards supporters group saying that they really need some help down there, canvassing, phone-banking etc. She traveled from Ohio to help. It sounds like things might be looking up for John in SC and it would be great if he could have a good showing there Saturday. Here is Ninja's thread if you are interested. http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=257x4293

Anyway, thanks for listening to me. Any help or input you could give would be greatly appreciated. I'd even just be interested in hearing any feedback on how John is doing in your area.

Thanks again.

1. I have received phone calls
From Edward's campaign. I plan to vote saturday. And I am voting for Edwards. Why? Because I am sick of the bickering...the end.

2. Hey Allison, that's terrific.
Thank you for supporting Edwards. Please help get his message out down there if you can. Even if it's just to talk to your friends and family and let them know you are voting for him. So many people are letting the media choose their candidate for them so every time someone speaks out for Edwards, it helps to show people they don't have to be just sheep.

Thanks again!:yourock:

3. Well now, if he,s up wing a ways I,ll lissen to what he,s got to say

Batman and superman have been hammering it out good, since one thinks he is never sure who he is running against, I can see that the two don,t think there is any other choice ,or was that three of them or is there four actually.

What I do know is that it is not about batman and it is not about superman and it is not about the advocate of change. What it is about is the exceptance of change .And it is clear to me that both batman and superwoman really don,t know.

And I have noted that they are both just plane rude.
It has indeed become ever so clear to me that both of those two ,or is that three(?) I keep getting confused, one says he is never sure who he,s running against at the same time comming on as though another or the fourth doesn,t even exist. Now that,s not forgetting ,That,s the Chicago slum slam. Treat your opponent as though he or she isn,t even there. Oh but forgive me ,I had forgotten you were even there. How you all doing?
A long time has passed since 1973!

Now that Chicago slum slam, those windy city people are all fine and well ,polite too, but ah,the people in your northern well established citys along the eastern sea board are just a little more more seasoned to the windy city ways, in fact where I grew up for a while was in place that put power to Chicago, and their food is good, and they are polite ,but they are also just a bit to windy for the educated taste. They don,t just have all the answers or the power. That,s what they forget to remember every time they wonder off far away from the windy city. And that guy who forgets ,he is no different than the rest of those that let theirselves become- Over inflated ,hence wind bag.

It,s a long road between now and election day.

And they will all show us a lot between now and then.

Right now, I,ll lissen to Edwards , And I,ll pay some mind to what he has to say, because he has earned that . Those other two or three, in my mind they may just go and stand aside. For the time being, there are two,or is that three of them (?) they may go, or I have put them there because they do not deserve the time it will take to pay them any mind. Because they are in a most outstanding way, rude and obnoxious. Both of them or all three of them or however it is those two see it.

But I am not in South Carolina ,although I once helped build a school there-but that was a very long time ago.

Since I am here, you know I have never been able to locate a 1963 Rambler three speed off the floor with over drive and a drop top. There are those that have told me that no such car exist or existed.

I am sure it was there.

4. And

Former president Clinton should be concentrating his efforts to at least appear to be a reformed fellow who has seen the errors of ways. The office of the President of the Untied States is not the time and place for oral sexual activities. And such insdious lascivious behavior in those matters reguardless to having been caught in the act or not is not just unseemly but it is a permenent black mark on professional ethics forevermnore.

And we will not have the come back kid comming back around with that sort of thing. The impression forever standing Mr. Clinton has left upon the the higest order of professional ethics will bring rise to issues comming out of executive closets until who is to say when.

Mr. Clinton should at least make himself appear to more of a likeness to a stately gentelman ,if for no other reason than shoring up damages done to professionalism in the offices
of all executive offices corperate and otherwise from sea to shining sea.

The foul and lackadaisical ways about our presidential contenders ,two of them ,both of whom are completely out of touch and out of alignment with the expectations of the American people. Expectations that must be met without question. This is indeed very disturbing .Anyone who thinks of himself as being the very best choice for president of the United States ( and clearly you may see that I too am confused)-is already a part of the mood of this nation. There shall be no need for the president of the United States to be elected to tap in to what one is expected to be a very strong part of forevermore. And it is indeed ever so clear that no one as of yet has come forword and demonstrated the very least to be expected by one who claims to be ready. And I am sure without a doubt that the polls will show that I am correct.

If you want change, than you also better. That just happens to be the very least of our demands.

5. So than if you want change than you also want better.

Wanting for the sake of wanting is never good enough ,in fact it will always seem to add up to fifty percent of nothing to gain .

So whats the new deal?
In that if you want change vote this away?
OK so lissen Mister, change is all around us ,it,s everywhere all the time ,what it is we want is change for the better, and we want a visual conscious concept ,you know something we can look at like a apple? What are your long standing views? Show me. It,s just a thought ,but is that all it is?

Or is it the idea that it is just not enough to simply want change? I think there is a point here ,it just want,s some time to fully develop, just some time. I know time gets thin as do many wallets, surely the mood of this nation is somewhere in a percentage point or two to that end.But it,s comming I promise.
I just need a little time.

I do understand that it must be very difficult for a woman that wants the presidency after being inside for such a very long time in a rather sheltered sort of way and I think you know what I am talking about. It is of course expected that she will trip from time to time not knowing the territory. It is not always easy to reclimetize after having been inside for such a very long time.

And I know that one who has to figure out when is the best time to tap into the mood of the nation will also tend to trip on that old path from time to time too.Different kind of windy.

And so it becomes clear that because of all the gusts of winds that happen as it is,it must become necessary for the center stage candidates to focus on theirselves only in order to be able to maitain center.

So all of the sudden it,s all about me and I am not sure which one of you I am running against.Well I,am here now ,it,s me.It,s not about the bills ,bills, bills ,I am here now. That,s pretty poor isn,t it?

So if you want change than you really want better. But look ,let,s take a lesson from the two of self center. If than you want better,it,s not about me ,me, me ,is it?

I think you know what I mean because it,s simple really.
And isn,t it really true that by looking at it threw simplifying situations in general the greater complications can be seen? If you want real change, start by demanding better. Now is the time.

Isl. Of Palms! Thank ya all ,sincere.

7. What about those polls
Bush has a view. grass roots. It,s all about money, what else can it be (?)
He sees you are moving along forword with a backwords sort of kick.
But you,ll be jump starting your TV so you can catch a flick.

So it,s the econmey you see , a couple of points. The THIN thing about it.Wanting for the sake of wanting will always add up to 50 percent of nothing to gain.
So what is left? Fear that,s what.Things are too thin as it is and it just can,t get much thinner. So who,s going to thicken the pot?

So what about those republicans ,don,t they just know all about something , something about fifty percent of nothing to gain. But think about how many flicks you never really watched. And with that there new tax tv thing complete with bells and whisels ,oh what a show, what a show ,what a show.

There is a up side. That being the big issue , thinness, it may be very difficult for the wise to reach down into the old pocket to donate on the count of thin sightedness.

Those two or is that three have been flunting the peoples money ,haven,t they.

Wanting for the sake of wanting is truely fifty percent of nothing to gain.
