Did anyone hear Bredesen's SOTS speech tonight?

Heard it on WPLN on the way home. GREAT SPEECH! I'm looking for a transcript.

NO MORE DAY USE FEES FOR STATE PARKS!!!!!

The rainy day fund is at it's highest level, EVER!

He propsed new goals for graduation rates at all levels of education, and a new Health Care Plan!

I think besides the health care program he's a good governor. Is there a video of the speech? And any new poll numbers on his re-election numbers?

2. I beg to differ on the health care...

He's reigned in the costs, now it's time to rework the state's program. Don't forget, Bredesen is a master at managing health care, but first you have to control the costs.

It's refreshing to see a politician go beyond using education and children as campaign props and actually do something for both..
