Harold Ford, Jr. fund raiser
I was at a Harold Ford, Jr fundraiser last evening and I have to report that we are extremely encouraged! (and I got my picture made with him)....

Everyone seems very determined to work hard at making him our next U.S. senator. He is a very good speaker with some great ideas and is willing to listen.

The Corker campaign is desperate and the negative ad's have already started . The Corker campaign must be worried! Corker and republicans can only run negative ad's because they have nothing positive to talk about, ergo their approach is to attack. Let's REMIND PEOPLE that it's the republicans failed policies who have put us in the predicament that we are in. Let's fight back!!! DO NOT let the negative ads slow us down or discourage us. Let's send Harold Ford, Jr to the US Senate.
For those of you who are not sold on Ford, just remember...There will be one of two men that are going to win and you do NOT want it to be Corker even if you do not totally agree with Ford, Jr.

2. jealous!
was this in Nashville? I am so hoping he makes it down to Chattanooga.

Funny, "Porker" (LOL) was our own mayor and I have seen twice as many Ford bumper stickers than his!

4. I'm curious to see how Ford responds
now that the Porker campaign has begun slinging the mud. Harold really needs to do something quick to highlight that it's all they have.

I like how he's stuck with the issues so far, but isn't that what Kerry did in '04?

8. The republican's have
stooped so low, that I don't understand why ANYONE would want to be a part of it.
We definitely need to keep people informed about what is going on. Especially concering the article you posted....I'm sure there is more to come. Thanks for the info.
