Jolanda Jones voted off of Survivor!
Ouch! Angie, the tattoo lady, beat her out on the Survivor series. I never watch it, but knew of Jolanda so I watched this evening.

Angie was the sure bet to be voted off. I was SHOCKED to see Jolanda off. Maybe she was a bit too vocal.

Jolanda ran for Houston City Council. Very athletic. An olympic athlete. An Attorney.

2. WTF!
On the West Coast, we haven't seen it yet.

I signed on to DU and this was the headline on the front page.

Damn, that sucks.

4. I'll thank you for the post because I kept looking at her legs and
the way she ran and was like, "I guarantee you she was an athlete!" Now I know!

7. It was 6pm on the West Coast when you posted that original post

I was at work and on line. Not yet watching TV.

Oh well, no worries. It was still a damn good show.

Jo was a great contender, but she just came off too strong too soon. Everyone was threatened by her. She'd have been smart to cool it a little at first.

Plus, she did royally fuck up the first challenge by making them all late.

6. I don't watch Survivor
or any of the reality shows. Reality itself, since Bushco, is almost more than I can deal with......don't look to it for entertainment. LOL

So, I had no idea Jolanda was on. I was just thinking of her the other day. My son is principal of a charter school which is a last ditch effort to graduate 16-23 year old drop outs and he's always looking for motivational speakers and Jolanda is one of the best.

I know she was an Olympian and named "Athlete of the Century" at UofH, after overcoming one lousy childhood.

I was thinking how it's too bad she's so far from his school in Michigan because Jolanda is probably one of the best examples of a REAL survivor. Her story can make you cry, laugh and marvel. That's the female audience. I think the male audience is probably just drooling.

8. I was GLAD! She was so FREAKING bossy and annoying!
I would have voted her off too!

I don't really watch Survivor, but I like to catch the first and last eps. I was flipping channels last night, so I didn't see the whole show, but from what I did see, I could not STAND that woman! Ugh! what a bossy, controlling, abrasive jerk!
