I can't wait for Dallas to get its own Air America affiliate. Where the hell is that station, anyway??

One right-wing hate radio station for another.

Here in the Houston area, on AM-700 (can't remember the call letters), "Holy" Dan Patrick regularly proclaims that Democrats are going to hell because of their political beliefs. I used to listen to him every so often on the drive home from work, by way of keeping up with the opposition. I finally got fed up, having an ignorant loudmouth like him telling me I was going to hell because of my party affilliation. I mean, everybody knows that it's conservatives that are going to roast for eternity in lakes of fire, right?

Like you, I'm ready for Air America. I'm not holding my breath, though.....

was just a silly buffoon doing Sports at Channel 11, I believe. Now I see that he hasn't changed, except for the topic he is discussing.

But it's even worse now, since he's gone Super-Christian and gotten sanctimonious beyond belief. The day after Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" at the Superbowl, Holy Dan was literally SCREAMING in outrage over the microphone; I thought he was going to pop a blood vessel or start talking in tongues or something. And when Mel Gibson's pornographically violent "Passion" movie came out, Patrick was absolutely beside himself, praising it non-stop; I think it got to be a bit much even for a lot of his usually enthusiastic listeners. I guess every town of any size in the country has radio goons such as him, but Patrick is pretty bad. People like him need to be monitored, but listening to him is a real chore......

They (the PW'ers) made Dallas their big event after the founders of said group moved to Austin. They targeted the Dallas Peace Center and The End the Occupation of Iraq weekly protest started in April of 2003, their main target. And they were semi-successful. We all are about Peace and Justice, they were all about Hate, Repression and Intimidation.

"If you are not with us you are against us", "Support the troops" and many other ugly, vile actions, slogans and big posters.

Please keep in mind, we support the troops, we want them home from an illegal war, occupation and death, not even to mention multiple war crimes.
