How did your Texas Rep vote on the Schiavo bill?
Chet Edwards voted yes. Yes to violate individual rights. Yes to bypass due process, and overstep the bounds of the legislature.

Enough of blue dog Democrats.

10. I'm in her district by the width of my street.
If I lived on the other side of the street, it would be Rep. Jeb Hensarling. AUGH!

12. I used to have Hensarling.
I got gerrymandered out of his district. I still write and call him, however. He doesn't know the difference, and I think he needs me bitching at him more than EBJ does. I actually showed up at his Social Security town hall too. Two-two-two reps for the price of one! :P

13. Add another me too to that hate fest for Lamar Smith
What an ass. You know he was going to tow the party line on this one. But let's not forget his conflict of interest on serving on the Ethics Committee investigating Tom DeLay and both contributing to his legal defense fund and fundraising for said fund.

Lamar Smith is a corrupt politician who needs to be removed from Congress.

22. We should keep this "non voting" list
We might be able to use it later. When they're up for re-election, we can "spin" it to the so-called-Religious-wingnuts that these people didn't care enough about Terri Schiavo to show up for a vote. Of course, by then, this whole issue will probably be forgotten.

24. And to think he's a turncoat as well
The only thing we can say about Ralph Hall is that he's no longer a Democrat. He never acted like one anyway.

25. Kevin Brady
Edited on Thu Mar-24-05 05:43 AM by last_texas_dem
(My rep as of last January, since Tom Delay screwed Jim Turner out of his district.)

But yeah, ugh... not even worth checking as I already know how he voted. I don't even attempt to write Brady about the issues. He's as much my "representative" as Shrub is my President.
