Dallas oil tycoon Boone Pickens is predicting gasoline prices may top three dollars a gallon in the next few months.

3. Most people who can afford H2s can afford high gas prices

I don't think that people who drive expensive gas guzzlers care. They got that big tax break from Bush that'll more than cover any additional expenses due to high gas prices.

The poor are the ones who really suffer. I would love to drive one of those hybrids but can't afford it. My Toyota Corolla gets 34 mpg.

7. I don't know about that...........

Lots of people who drive those hideous gas guzzlers are living off of their credit cards. I'm always surprised that some of those people who seem to be the richest are really in hock up to their asses.

...driving hybrids. I mean, that is the reason gee-dubya and $hrubco have been sueing the state of california. Can you imagine, our federal government is sueing california to make sure that higher fuel economy standards DON'T go into place. Hmmmm.... Global warming, Peak Oil, Middle East dependence and these clowns are trying to ensure that cars DON'T get better gas mileage and produce cleaner emissions.

However, if you want to buy a vehicle that gets the WORST fuel economy, $hrubco will give you tax incentives that, in essence, make said vehicle 75% free.

on edit: Every hummer or expedition sold should come with a sticker that says "the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia thanks you for your support," or "carlyle thanks you for your support." Oops, I repeat myself.
