Call your Senator about SB6-Gay/Bisexual Foster Parents

I called mine this morning (Kip Averett) and the lady ansewring the phone said they had gotten a lot of calls against it this morning and are keeping a tally. I told her I'm not gay but I see this as a discrimination as well as a privacy issue, that I don't have a problem with an agency checking for sexual predators, but homosexuals are not criminals. Plus, what would happen to all the children that are currently in foster homes where the caretaker is gay?

Called Senator Carona's office, very politely said my piece. Made sure to work in that not only am I a *constitutent* of the senator, I am a *neighbor.* I kinda work that when I call. :evilgrin:
