1. Sharp is a good man
Sharp is a good man and would make a great governor. However, I doubt that he can win.

2. Sharp made an excellent Comptroller
But he lacks charisma. He's a policy wonk. Knows that stuff inside and out. Facts and sound policy don't win campaigns these days against the GOP.

3. Good Government Geek
It might be possible to run as a good government geek. Hair Hutchenson and Perry are not exactly flowing with ideas.

6. Maybe Lt. Gov.
He has the head for it. Until we know if KBH is running for gov, we won't know what kind of musical chairs will happen. We might not have any Repuke incumbent running for what they've been, come next April.

Also, I read something on the web today (maybe LBN?) about Cornyn for Supreme Court. If he'd dare. After his threat to judges after the Shivo case, ya think he wants to be a sitting duck? lol

4. I'd heard this before
but this isn't the "big name" that I think can win it.

9. Her post-gov shilling for the tobacco and nuclear waste industries
pretty much colled me on her (and I was pretty hot for her, too, so it took a hell of an effort on her part to turn me the other way).

10. Ouch, that wouldn't help a bit of course
John Sharp is a good man, but hopefully he won't jump in the race against Chris Bell. The Lt. Gov slot on the ticket is open however. And we all know that has a lot more power. Sharp might make the 3rd time is a charm win.
