Anyone going to DC 9/24 from Houston? I am interested in going.

I haven't heard anything about it from this area. Anyone know?

Sadly, I will not be able to make the trip to D.C.

There will be a demonstration in Houston, however. See below...

Saturday, September 24

Major march and rally against the war in Iraq. This is part of the national mobilization against the war, with a massive rally in D.C. and events in many other cities. Organized here by a coalition of more than 25 peace, justice, and religious groups. Gather at noon in Market Square downtown at 300 Milam. Then march at 12:30 to Houston City Hall for a rally featuring performers, speakers, and chants demanding that U.S. troops be pulled out.
