The one at Slaughter and Manchaca in Austin certainly seems to. They had a TV set up showing some fristian preacher ranting about how marriage is under attack. I left my cart in the aisle and walked out of that store forever.
Does anyone know if they've endorsed hatred on the corporate level, or is this just the act of an individual rogue manager?
1. Just ask them to read the amendment. It's only two sentences,
no hidden text, nothing hard to understand.
a. Marriage in this state shall consist only of one man and one woman.
b. This state or a political subdivision of this state may not create or recognize any legal status identical or similar to marriage.
"A" is pretty straight forward. "B" then says that the state cannot recognize anything identical "A".
Considering that marriage conveys over 1000 rights is it not possible that one of those terrible trial lawyers might be able to use this amendment ot cancel some of them?
