Sugar Land, Texas switches to electronic voting
I have lived in SL for nearly ten years and have always voted using pencil and paper. Yesterday, I had to vote on an electronic voting machine. (I don't know what kind it was -- I couldn't find a manufacturer name on it. It had a wheel that toggled you through your choices and you had to hit enter to select.)

I wonder if this change is district-wide (Tx district 22, Tom DeLay) or if Sugar Land was one of the last paper and pencil districts to switch?

1. It's eSlate by Hart Intercivic
See babylonsister's thread in this list about them. Harris County's been using it for quite a few elections now.
