I think we've got a good chance in 107.

I also think Katy will win the special election in 106.

2. We'll have to keep 48.
They spent a ridiculous amount of money in losing, I'm sure they'll be back.

10. He lost by 16 points in a district that has was drawn to go Republican
that's a terrible sign for him personally, and it should send shivers down the spines of all Republicans. I doubt he has any chance in November. I do hope Howard is planning for a dogfight anyway, though.

3. I vote for Juan Garcia - HD 32
Gene Seaman is ripe for the picking. Seaman underperformed by 4% in the last contested election. Given that Juan Garcia has a great resume and background, there is libertarian candidate in the race, that Seaman has given Garcia tons of ammo (see clip) and that Seaman is only tolerated by the Republicans (they think he's creepy and has no leadership appointments), I am betting on Juan Garcia.

He can win with our help. Contribute and http://electjuangarcia.com/home/index.php?location=Volunteer">Volunteer.

6. When's Juan going to start campaigning in Nueces County?
I've talked to the Democratic precinct chairs in his district and they haven't been asked to blockwalk or do mail outs. Of course, Juan doesn't have an opponent in the primary so he doesn't need to spend time or money to get Democrats to the polls on March 7th. Also, HD32 is heavily Republican, so maybe Juan wants to concentrate on getting their votes in November as an alternative to creepy Gene.

7. Nueces County has to be focused
because HD 32 is only in a portion of that county. The bulk of the district comprises of Calhoun Co., Aransas Co. and San Patricio Co. I think you are right. Juan wins by getting Democrats, Republicans and Independents to vote for him.

Check out the http://www.house.state.tx.us/members/pdf/districts/32.pdf">map of the district.

13. Four candidates in the Democratic primary
The real race is between Jason Earle (my guy) and Valinda Bolton. This is a district that the Democrats didn't even bother to contest in 2004!

12. We've got a great candidate in 133
I think she's got a great shot if the "moderate" Repug doesn't win the primary.
