Holy cats! Nine inches of rain in Arlington! :scared:

Don't drive into the high water, friends.

2. Sorry, apparently we are hogging it all.
I'd send you some if I could! White Rock Lake spillway looks like freaking Niagara Falls. We're dry too but we didn't really want it ALL AT ONCE. :D

5. Can't we send some of this rain to Hondo?
We've got plenty in the D/FW area - I wonder how many inches we've received since January 1?

12. 10.46 inches at DFW since Jan 1
D/FW Airport, the region’s official recording station, has logged 10.46 inches since Jan. 1, quite a bit above the 6.27 inches that would be the norm. But Moller warned that it was not enough to call an end to the prolonged drought that has plagued the region since early 2005.

7. We're under a tornado warning right now.
According to the nonstop coverage on television, we're right under a potential tornado right now. Staying downstairs until this passes. Yikes!

9. Thanks, Muse!
It is settling down out there. Some hail and strong winds and lots of rain but no tornado. The power didn't even go out. It's still raining but the storm itself has passed to the east over southern Travis County.

Hang on, Neighbors! :hi:

13. The fashion choice for Dallas on Sunday? Tactical BDUs...
I was wearing a tactical jacket and trousers along with some cheap but reliable combat boots yesterday. Yes, I got soaked along with the rest of you, but the good news is that BDUs don't cling to your skin when wet. Wheeeeeee!!
