Question about SDEC members. Do you guys fund their travel?

I did not realize that our SDEC members pay so much money for travel and hotel!

So I am going to propose tomorrow night at our pre-convention meeting that we pitch in $10 each for their travel fund. I believe we will collect about $1500.

Now, does your SD have a treasurer? An account?

and it breaks my heart when I see one of the biggest list owners in the state criticizing an SDEC person for their struggle to pay for the expenses incurred traveling to the SDEC meetings.

My SD does have a treasurer and an account, just not much in the account after SD convention expenses.
