General Wes Clark and Nick Lampson in joint podcast

On Thursday, March 23 General Clark and Nick Lampson participated in recording a joint "ClarkCast" to highlight Nick's fight to win District 22 from Hammerhead - Tom Delay.

My camera battery died, but it was good to see Wes and so many of our local candidates being photographed together. There must have been a half dozen from Ft.Bend county, none of whom I know (other than Nick, of course). It was good to see Rick and Melissa Noriega, Hubert Vo, Kristi Thibaut and Ellen Cohen there. It was really good to see Debra Danberg again, too. And of course, it goes without saying, seeing Bob Gammage and Marsha and Fred Head (candidate for State Comptroller) back in Houston was a real treat.

BTW, for everyone......the whole thing was sponsored by a major Democrat, Art Gochman, the owner of Academy Sporting Goods Stores, so remember, Academy is True Blue!!!

Earlier, the Fort Bend candidates had asked General Clark if he would come back to help them get some visibility in their races, and without missing a beat, he said "You bet."

I'm so glad to see Wes Clark and other national figures supporting down-ballot candidates. Hopefully, this will help to get some media attention and build enthusiasm for the Democratic ticket.
