3. Braggart.
:0
She got 42% of the vote here, but I am honestly not sure if she got it because she is a) a woman b)a woman with a "funny" last name.
It is ridiculous.
Ben Grant took 75% of the vote too and probably for the same reasons.

6. this is from click2houston.com....
Radnofsky, a Houston attorney, had 61 percent of the vote, compared with Kelly's 39 percent with nearly 30 percent of precincts reporting.

Way to go! Way to hold that precinct in line. Not to take away your thunder, because that was good woman. That was a perfect vote. :applause:

My county Travis, went for BAR 92%. We only had 935 confused people in the vote for the whole county.

RACE NAME EARLY VOTES PERCENT TOTAL PERCENT

Gene Kelly 295 8.98% 640 7.84%
Barbara Ann Radnofsky 2,989 91.01% 7,520 92.15%

18. I wish I could convince myself that it matters.....
I went out and voted for her in the runoff, but I kept asking myself "Why?" since KBH will almost certainly cruise through November unscathed.

It was either '68 or '70 ('70, I think), when Ralph Yarborough lost in the Democratic primary (back when that was all that mattered in Texas) to Lloyd Bentsen. That was the LAST time an incumbent US Senator from Texas lost a bid for re-election. That trend will fail SOMEDAY. In fact, it really, really NEEDS to fall when Cornyn's term is almost up. But, I just don't see Barbara beating Kay -- much as I'd like to see it happen.

19. You might enjoy the poll on Burnt Orange Report
about this very thing. Front page (right hand side):

http://www.burntorangereport.com

They have the whole statewide ticket and they are asking which ones do we think are winnable for the Democrats. Not a lot of votes yet, but so far, only the governor's race is a clear favorite.

20. You are probably right, BUT...
...your voice needs to be heard. I don't expect many of my selections in November to win, but dammit, my vote will be cast and my voice will be heard (if the machines allow :tinfoilhat: ).

crispini blanketed her precinct with information about the senatorial runoff, and if it resulted in a shutout, I say it's affirmation of her efforts, and she can boast all she wants.:yourock:
