Here's the deal. The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce AND the Greater Houston Partnership (Ugh!) are having an "appreciation celebration" for Tom DeLay at the Marriot at Sugar Land Town Square on July 7th. This just totally pisses me and and whole bunch of other people off. He's resigned as our congressman and is moving out of our district, so move on already! We don't want him in Sugar Land AT ALL. Seriously, this makes me crazy.

In response to this, all of the Democratic clubs in TX-22 are having a party to celebrate a new government and a new way of doing the people's business. SO, please mark your calendars and join us!

I thought Tom DeLay moved to North VA or North CA? I guess he's really feeling like he wants to stay in Texas. Well I guess we find out if Sam Sparks thinks Tom really should be forced to run on Monday June 26th.

WHD, I'm sure Juanita would not miss it for the world. I wonder what she's going to do when that Congressvarmint DeLay is really gone for good. I guess she can still post about other local varmints, Texas is of course crawling with them.

“Tribute to Tom DeLay” on Friday, July 7th, at the Marriott
Hotel in Sugar Land. The cost is $55 a person. They are
celebrating the politics of corruption, paybacks and dirty
dealings, and lamenting that it’s going away. The Fort Bend
Republican Party chairman wants the local GOP to buy a
$550 table to “show their support for the work that Con-
gressman DeLay has done for Fort Bend County and the
Party over these past years.”

So tomorrow, new person "cutting" and I may show up tomorrow night "hiding" under a big sombrero and sunglasses. Hell, Tommy and I may be dress alike. lol
