KRISTI THIBAUT POSTS STRONG FUNDRAISING NUMBERS IN RACE FOR STATE REPRESENTATIVE
HOUSTON, TX – The Kristi Thibaut campaign announced today that, as of June 30th, it had raised over $130,000 in the race for Texas State House of Representatives, District 133.
“Kristi Thibaut is taking her ideas about preventing crime, strengthening our schools, and demanding ethical government in Austin into the neighborhoods, and the residents are responding,” said campaign manager Keir Murray. “The people of District 133 want and deserve real, independent representation at the State Capitol, and that’s exactly what Kristi will give them”, he said.
Kristi Thibaut will report $130,595 raised during the period ending June 30, 2006, and $100,148 cash on hand. Thibaut’s official report will be released to the Texas Ethics Commission on July 17th.
“I am incredibly grateful for, and frankly humbled at the outpouring of support for my campaign,” Thibaut said. “As I travel across District 133, our message of opportunity and responsibility is resonating in every neighborhood.”
