Five years of Republican leadership and the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and the middle class gets smaller. The home foreclosure rate has doubled, the poverty rate has doubled and our state parks are up for sale to the highest bidder. (Perry pushed for land auction By R.A. Dyer Star Telegram Aug 29). Our great leader pushed behind the scenes to facilitate the sale of 400 acres of parkland near Eagle Mountain Lake to developers. Yeah, we really need more Mc Mansions. Besides, the parks are about the only affordable recreation left to the middle class so nobody of importance will notice.
Perhaps it's time to let somebody else have a hand at running the state for awhile. Any of my family pets could do as well.
