I Just Contributed to Barbara Ann Radnofsky's Campaign
I just made a contribution to Barbara Ann Radnofsky's campaign for the US Senate seat currently held by Senator Kay. It's not that I have a particular dislike for Kay, although I dislike many of her actions in office, or that I think that Barbara Ann is certain to knock KBH out of the box.

Even if Radnofsky loses this race, I hope that her loss is a narrow one, and that she tries to get elected as a US Senator from Texas in 2008. I would dearly like to see ultra-conservative and Enron campaign contribution beneficiary John Cornyn sent packing by a majority of Texas voters.

3. BAR is vastly superior to KBH, not even close. BAR is sooo much smarter
and 1000 times more engaged and hardworking.

I hope like hell she beats KBH, just to show Texans what they have been missing in their Senatorial representation.

She'll show Cornyn for the dumbass he is, just by standing next to him, and then maybe we'll end up with TWO Dem senators, if not simply to save face.

That is, if my fellow Texans are not completely clueless these days.
A great leap of faith on my part, I acknowledge.

4. From your keyboard to G*d's computer monitor screen.
From your keyboard to G*d's computer monitor screen.

Alas, I fear that we Texans are likely to be at the tail end of any renaissance of wisdom and common sense among the American electorate, trailed only by Mississippi and Alabama.
