Tarrant, Dallas: Let's go talk to the Elections Offices
Ok, peeps, it's time to do something about this election machine crap.

http://www.blackboxvoting.com/

Anyone up for a trip to visit our fine county registrars?

Tarrant: I will happily drive over there to support and be another body in the office... probably a resident should make the appointment.

Dallas: I'm gonna call Citizens for Election Protection tomorrow and see what they think of this, and if they think a visit is warranted. We don't have H-1 equipment, as far as I know, but I believe we have E&S equipment.

Let's go, we're the citizens here! woot!

2. Let's just go as a group of concerned citizens.
Why not? I don't give a rat's ass what our local Democratic Party does and doesn't do. They are overworked and underpaid and not very good at supporting the grassroots, but you know, I have walked my own precinct without being trained, I have registered voters without being trained, and I have NO PROBLEM walking into an elections office on my own and saying "Hey, I'm a concerned citizen here, and I'd like to talk to you about this."

Taxpayer.
American citizen.

That's enough for me to poke my nose anywhere the hell I want to in our democracy, and bitch like hell if I don't get in.

4. Hee! Excellent.
I sent an email to the centex evote mailing list I'm on. Maybe we'll hear something back from them. And we should probably get ahold of the Tarrant for Kerry people... are you doing anything with them? I'll shoot an email off to the folks I know.

This election, I'm just all full of p*ss and vinegar. hee!
