Anybody else notice Hutchison's constant busy signal?
This had been going on for several months, at least. For a while I was getting around it by going through the Capitol switchboard, but after a while that one became always busy as well. There's got to be a back line for the non-peons somewhere, so the money people can get through. She can't be doing business like this, just avoiding constituents. That's what it looks like to me, anyway.

I mentioned it to someone in her office once when I first started using the switchboard number. She gave some non-answer like "we're very busy." Give me a break. If you're that busy, get some more phone lines. I've had less trouble getting through to Reid, on a day when something specific was in the news.

And, yes, I know I'm wasting my time anyway, but it's the principle of the thing....

1. Maybe they take the phones off the hook
I applaud you for trying to call! :applause:

You might try one of her Texas office numbers. Me I just hit her submission form.

All the Texas Office numbers are listed there too, at the bottom of the page.

2. I'll try that (the Texas numbers), thanks!
I got through today to comment on her comment on telco immunity. Something along the lines of since the government wouldn't let them release documents therefore the government had to immunize them. I said, uh, so let them release the documents. I'd sure like to find out what our government has been doing.

For all the good it will do.....
