Just wondering how many DU'ers work early voting.
I work at a very busy early voting location in Houston.

In two weeks early voting starts again.

2. I am a precinct judge so I work both also but early voting is either fun or hell.
This last election was hell, we put in some long hours.

The runoff is coming up, this will be an easy election to work.

4. We worked over 170 hours in 11 days.
I was so tired, then I worked election day.

I am looking forward to a quiet runoff.

I wish more Democrats would work elections, the work is important.

5. tell me about it. I volunteered to be on the County Resolutions committee and just got an email from
our democratic "Executive director" warning me (And everyone else on the list)
That I was the one making trouble at our precinct.
I get up a 5 AM. Get to the primary be 06:00. Set up the voting booths.
Get the clerks ready to man the books and hand out the ballots.
Spend the next 15 hours telling people this is the Democratic primary If you are wanting to vote Republican see me and I will look up your polling place.
Explain 1000 times what a caucus is and how it works.
Close the machines down.
Go to the caucus and get myself elected to the County Convention.
And then get an email telling me I am a trouble maker.

And you wonder why we have trouble getting people to help out?

6. I know, the work is hard but is so important.
I am already getting people for the November election, we will need everyone.

Sorry that you were called a trouble maker, that is just stupid.

I didn't go to the caucus but have been in touch with the person who ran it.

I haven't received any information yet about the up coming convention yet.

The convention should be interesting.
