Texas Budgetary question - Environment
I got an email from a friend who is in my public policy class asking for some help. She is doing her presentation / paper on environmental issues. Her was her question:

Texas budgetary expenditures on environmental research and development/implementation. I didn't find what I was looking for on TERC's site or by searching either. Any ideas?

Does anybody have any ideas or info.?

1. Badly phrased question. I have no idea what your friend is asking for.
Perhaps a better question would get more responses????

2. Can't tell
But considering where Texas ranks on the environment it must be diddly squat.

3. perhaps this info will be helpful in getting your friend
I googled everything in the first sentence and came up with this info. Maybe it will provide some info into which it will lead to other searches.

She could also contact these people and get some info might be helpful.

I'm not sure if this will help but who knows it's worth a try.

4. The word environment in Texas...
Edited on Sat Jul-05-08 05:29 PM by Baby Snooks
The word environment is not part of the vocabulary in Texas. I will try to be nice. At least some Democrats know the word. They just don't dare mention it on the floor while the Legislature is in session.

Mention an endangered species and the Republicans will reply that it's obviously not very profitable to raise them or they'd be raising more of them.

TNRCC, also known as Train Wreck, is our state EPA agency. Need you ask more beyond knowing that it is also known as Train Wreck? Complete with hazardous material spills?
