Just moved here from Dallas last week.
I want to early vote, but am still quite clueless as to where the closest location would be (the street names / numbers might as well be Greek).

I am living in the Galleria area, around Sage / Rice / Richmond / Westheimer.

That's the thing. You may need to vote by mail in Dallas if you did not change your registration to Houston before the deadline.

I registered in Houston as soon as I closed on my new place here several wks ago, but just physically moved in last week.

Can you help tell me where the closest early voting location to the Galleria might be?
