Ugh. My neighbors.
So they've erected a homemade sign declaring the death of America. :puke:

I had to endure years of their "we support our president" signs, but this sign violates deed restrictions, so I happily reported them to the HO association. (I urged the HOA to send a letter and to call them immediately so I wouldn't have to explain to my child this afternoon that our neighbors are intolerant racists.)

Jerks.

1. Yeah, you won't hear much of that usual "we have to support our President"
crap from them now. Hypocrites.

2. I feel for you. I'm in a blue county, so most of the people
around here are ecstatic, but an old friend of mine who lives a couple of hours away sent me an email saying she wanted to 'move to Mexico & is dreading Obama's marxism and socialism'... Do people really think they're informed because they read a few trash emails forwarded around?! They just take that crap for fact without bothering to investigate anything themselves. The stupidity just amazes me. :grr:

5. You might also consider the zoning regs.
I my town you are not allowed to have political signs in your yard except for the period 60 days before an election. It is a pretty common ordinance.

6. Yay! They took it down.
I don't know if it had anything to do with my complaint or not, but I'm so grateful they took it down before my kid came home from school. :)

8. What area do you live in? I'm thinking about moving from the unincorporated boonies
and I'm assuming I should avoid your area? (Plus I'm just curious to know where there are jerks like that..... ;) )

9. I'm in Sugar Land
but we went 50/50 this election, so it's not as bad as other Texas counties. And on the weekends, we can escape to blue Houston. :)

12. Which part?
I already know which parts I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole based on my present knowledge; wondered if yours was already on my list or if I should add it.... ;)

7. Glad you reported them. Yesterday morning I called Spring High School
to report seeing a boy driving his old truck around the back parking lot with a huge Confederate flag mounted in the back and waving in the wind. Then still driving to work, saw an SUV with our U.S. flag flying from the back window. Two completely different viewpoints.

14. Student driving through school parking lot! I drop my grandson off
then drive through back parking lot. At 7:00am the student was obviously trying to start something by flying Confederate flag on the morning after Obama won Presidential election. When I called school, made sure I was talking to an adult and not just student helper, and found out school was already on alert. There are about 3,000 kids in that one high school alone, they have police there all the time, a wall-bank of video monitors, all kids wear ID, and tensions run high on a good day. On Thursday I saw a news crew out front of the school. That night the TV news showed picture and name of a black student charged with rape on school grounds.

10. That's Nothing.
You should hear what is being said on the C.B.'s out at the truck stops. After dark.
It's awful what their saying.
Making death threats to the President.
Making Jokes and cat calls about women and about water melons and cotton pickers.

I got on the C. B. And said.

That's not a very good ideal to be saying things like that. Not at this time and date.
Did you know that not only the Democrats. But also the Republicans.

Know that it is people like you and all of the things that you are saying. Is the number one reason why Mc Cain lost the Presidency.

Your mouth just cost a lot of fat cat's in The Republican party trillions of dollars.

Boy are they hot.

You and your mouth has just cost them one election.

Do you think that the Fat cat's in the Republican party are going to just sit there and do nothing about this problem.

They probably have jacked boot thugs. Death squids out looking for you and your kind.
There not going to lose the next election just so that you can run your mouth.

I don't think so.

This is a Republican problem. They can't look to the Democrats to fix it for them.

Why should we. As long as we have you out hear on the street running your mouth.

And running the American voter a way from the Republican party.

The Democrats are going to win elections. We are going to win the next election also. We are not going to tell you to shut up.

Your like the gift that just keeps on giving.

You will be last seen laying dead in the bar ditch. A lone side the interstate. Before the Republican will lose another election because of you and your kind.

Republican are going to fix this problem. Not Democrats.

I would watch my back if I was you.

The silence was deafening. It's been four hours now. And I haven't heard any one say single word on the C.B.

They know that it's a true statement. And I do to.

Where ya at? I'm in former DeLay Land. (Otherwise known as white sugar land. But it has great prospects. Really. It's my semi-ancesral home, and I love it.)
