iPhone App for Texas Legislature

For those Texas DUers who have an iPhone, check out My Texas Lege:

My Texas Lege is the first professional nonpartisan iPhone directory of the Texas Legislature. Created by a former Texas House staffer, My Texas Lege provides all the important information needed to contact your member of the Legislature.

This is something I have been working on for while. If you all have any thoughts on how to make it better, I would love your input.

I'll pass the tip along to my advocacy friends. I don't have an iPhone. :(
I would love one but really it's just not in the budget right now.

2. Thanks!

I created a LITE (free) version so everyone can have one and a PLUS version with a lot more functionality.

We will be keep the directory updated with staff changes and there will be a bunch of 2010 campaign info in the next version of My Texas Lege PLUS.

3. There are some bugs

Email addresses for committee staff aren't formed properly, and at least some House member staff emails (including mine) are wrong. Otherwise, this is a great idea for an app.

We are working on next version right now to correct a few things, add some more functionality (i.e. cool new bells and whistles) and include the 2010 campaign info.

Depending on the turn around time with Apple, you should see a shiny new version is early to mid-August.

Just got the Lite version -- wow, that is one of the most impressive valuable apps I've ever seen. I'll do a review at the app store later. Also, I am VERY interested in the Campaign 2010 -- will definitely purchase when you have that available. Great Work!
