LUPE VALDEZ!!!!!!!

She totally deserved this job. She's got a blindingly, amazingly excellent resume and she's a brilliant, talented woman.

Oh, and we also elected THREE good Democratic judges: Don Adams, Lorraine Raggio, and Dennise Garcia.

Hey, tonight, I'm taking all the victories I can get. :D

It's the sound of Fred Phelps dropping a massive pantload up in Kansas.

Interesting that Danny Chandler would conveniently leak Valdez's sexual orientation in the last days of the campaign - it's been an open secret among her better-connected supporters, but we didn't think it was worth making a fuss about.
