I'm making my trek home, Arlington, from my grandfather's house in the Beaumont-Pt. Arthur area. My dad said snow, but he tends to overract.

2. Thanks.
I left earlier than usual, 10:30. I'm just north of Centerville now. I've been making good time so far. Hopefully it's not too bad when I hit DFW.

The bad thing is I only packed open toed shoes for this weekend. I'm such a dummy. lol

4. Made it home safe and sound.
Normal driving time, 5.5 hrs as well. The only snow I really saw was near Corsicana.

6. I only saw one wreck today.
It was on I-45, but thankfully on the south bound side. An 18 wheeler was in the median area, he wasn't turned over or anything, but they had 1 lane shut down and there was quite a bit of back up. I don't remember where this was exactly, there was snow on the ground though, so I was north of Buffalo. I didn't see any other damaged cars or anything, just the 18 wheeler, but I wasn't pay too much attention.

I thought of you as I drove through Ennis. It's one of my "spots" where I usually end up on a potty break. Hey, have you gone to that Buc-ees place in Madisonville? I started using that as a stopping point a year or so ago. Best bathrooms and a large selection of snacks and sandwiches and coffee/drinks.
