Karma has to work out eventually? (good luck with the bad)
I moved from DentOn to Austin almost a year ago and let me tell you it has been a bumpy ride. I got juiced in to a good job at a really nice bar with some exceptional people and have been promoted 3 times in less than a year (that's the good). However my second month here I was rufied (sp?) that resulted in totaling my car and a night in jail via dwi, my lawyer said I could fight it but would probably lose, so as of two weeks ago I'm on an 18 month probation carless and unable to drive ( bought another car that died within a month) keep loosing or breaking my phone and continue to be in the perpetual friend zone when it comes to women ( frustrating ). My job keeps giving me hopes while the rest of my life continues to disappoint. To top it off o will be unable to see my best friend's kid's first birthday (actually delayed my move down here for his birth august fifth). I can't drink or smoke for 18 months and continuously over work myself (24 hours in last two days for example). I don't even know why I posted this. Just lookin for good vibes I guess. Keepe thinking all the love and good karma I put out into the world has to come back my way at some point, right?

1. Talking about it helps
Obviously you can see the positive things in your life and you should keep focusing on those things. Bad things happen to everyone. No one said life was fair. But it's how you deal with those bad things that make your life. You can stew in them and make yourself angry and depressed or you can shrug them off and move forward.

Maybe you should try something completely new. Something you have wanted to do for a while and it might change your focus. Whether its a fun thing or something you've just been meaning to do.

And for good vibes - I'm hoping you break the streak of bad luck and get some good things go your way. Just make sure you recognize them. :)

2. Hugs for you
Sometime life just sucks... then it gets better :)

The love and karma that you've put out does matter. Be sure and direct some of that love and goodwill to yourself too.

4. Hang in there
Good advice in the replies to this thread.

My wife and I are examples of the fact that there are new beginnings and second chances. (We moved to Cleburne from Denton last year a this time)
