Hou Chron Vo Story: Voters subpoenaed in Vo-Heflin flap
The state House has subpoenaed scores of Houston-area voters who cast contested ballots in the November election that gave Democratic newcomer Hubert Vo a narrow victory over veteran Republican state Rep. Talmadge Heflin.

Vo will be sworn in and seated as the state Legislature convenes today but still faces Heflin's challenge of the election results before a special House committee.

1. Very good story
Gives us a good look at the repuke strategy. We had a great rally today. I'll post more on it later tonight and maybe put up some pictures. There were about 300 people there standing with Vo. Many of our Democratic TX Representatives stood with him. Charles Scoeting our State Dem party chair was there as well as former U.S. Rep. Chris Bell.

My favorite sign was actually a towel that had "Hefin, throw in the towel". One great button I saw "Heflin just can't say Vo".

Beautiful community. Houston came in on 2 or 3 buses I hear. A good turnout from Austin too.

Lots and lots of media.

Yeah Vo!!!
