I really hate it when the legislature is in session
All these red-necked, red county politicians come here to Austin and they bring their red state "moral values" here to Austin, where they are most unwelcome to the locals. Today two rallies were held at the Capitol in favor of parental permission for abortion (notification was passed in 1999--the old slippery slope model) and in support of state sponsored religion--the 10 commandments on the Capitol lawn.

Sometimes I wish a Blue State would adopt Austin and make it a colony.

1. I love Austin. I wish we could do like the EU and have the MN
state capitol alternate location between St. Paul and Austin.
