Shumlin wins governor's race
good news for Vermont

http://www.wcax.com/Global/story.asp?S=13437028

"The governor's race in Vermont has been decided -- Peter Shumlin will be the state's next leader. The official results will not be certified by the secretary of state until later this week, but unofficial numbers compiled by Channel 3 News show just how close this race was. With 97-percent of the expected vote in -- 249 of the 303 voting districts -- Shumlin has 115,395 votes. Dubie has 111,591 votes. A margin of just 38-hundred votes or 1.7 percent. That makes it the second closest governor's races in modern history."
