Is the current Virginia Secretary of State a Democrat or a Republic?
Because the Secretary of State's are in charge of tabulating the votes.

1. VA is a Commonwealth, not a State

It has a Sec. of the Commonwealth who is a Warner appointee. I don't think she is responsible for counting votes.

2. Okay
Sorry, I forgot Virginia was a Commonwealth ;)

I'll check that link out, thanks. But at least the Secretary was appointed by Governor Warner...even if she mightn't be in charge of counting the votes.

Does that make ANY sense whatsoever? No, thought not!

3. There was an NBC-12 (Richmond) special on the election on
from 8-9 tonight. They were talking about hanging door notices and phone calls being made to people around the Commonwealth (Richmond, NoVA, Hampton Roads), notably in African-American communities, telling people their voting places had changed. The news anchors were discussing this w/ the Secretary, and she said she apparently received one of these phone calls!? They asked whether this was going to be investigated, and she said "obviously not before the election" but if I heard her correctly, most likely afterwards.

Now I'm more concerned than ever my vote won't be counted.
