2. What part of town are you in?
I used to live in an apt. on Queen Anne and miss that area so much - 10 min walk to the Space Needled and I took the monorail to my office (in Two Union Square, just a few block walk from the mall). Have a sip and enjoy the weather. :)

7. Seattle joke
Edited on Mon Apr-19-04 05:16 PM by joefree1
Salesman is visiting Seattle for a convention. Everyday he's been there it's been raining. After a couple of days of rain he's sick of being inside so he decides to take a walk. While walking he sees a boy bouncing a ball off the wall.

"Hey little boy," he asks, "does it ever stop raining here?"

"I don't know," the boy says defensively, "I'm only five!"

Sunny in Los Angeles, but everyone's blue because no Air America."

And I have two (small) palm trees in my yard. I guess I really should live in the tropics and give up this charade.

11. I'm in Gig Harbor..
We're having a moonbreak, and I'm having some chocolate pudding cake and milk.

Being from California, everyone keeps asking me if I "miss the sun". Is there something wrong with me? I seem to get plenty of sun here.. What are called "sunbreaks" are what other people would call a partly sunny day. The weather is groovy, the flowers are groovy, life is groovy up here. The chocolate cake is particularly groovy.

28. its really not so bad...

... in Everett.

I work at The Herald and only live 7 blocks away. I walk to work virtually everyday and have no desire to drive a car anymore. The busses are pretty good here but not as good as they were when we could ride all over town for 35 Cents.

Presently I am at home, drinking Dr. Pepper, and enjoying some 'Canadian'!

Thank goodness for payday!
