OK, why do the marches they have for workers always affect WORKERS' commutes?

This is about the fifth time in a year that a planned march has disrupted the commute. I want to support their causes, but it's only transit commuters who are affected!!!! What's up with THAT?

On edit - I meant to add, the people who can afford to drive and park downtown (or who choose to) can just skirt the event. But bus riders are stuck.

2. We were just joking that they should block off the parking garages
Let the fat cats sit and stew! My coworker said that they should line the bus routes and let the buses go - it was my idea to block off the parking garages.
