i'm never surprised at the ability of Seattle Sports teams to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, but this one...

why the F would baseball players/managers NOT want to live & work in the PNW, to the point where they'd quit in the middle of a season? because our marine air makes it harder to hit home runs? because the plane flights are 2 hours longer?

let's review:

Pinella left, wants to be in Tampa. Left Tampa for Chicago. Seattle was ready to name him Coach for Life.
Griffey left, wants to be in Cincy, and Fla. in the off-season. Seattle was ready to make him the richest man in baseball (good thing they didn't).
Hargrove left, wants to be in CLEVELAND?

personally, i left the midwest (cincy specifically) for seattle in 1991 & haven't regretted it for a second. HUMIDITY SUCKS!

It a difficult equation ,I have been looking at it for some time now, as of yet the equation is not finished and will not be until it is.

There is a certain something that seems to foil the game of baseball here in Seattle. Now I don,t know,but, there is a rumor that the the old minor home town ball players many of whom were major leauge material that refused to step up in the major leauges bcause things were just too good here in Seattle,and the pay was tops, in some cases more than the major leauges, and as it is, or so the rumor goes, this situation came with a bit of a curse of a sort,and so you it may be the sort of thing that we must and will now mind you ,overcome if you will.

Now I have not as of yet factored into the equation the parapsychological numeral factor, because as it is ,it remains in the x factor minus.
Which means there is no proof that it is there ,if it is there! However if it is, I will find it,of that I am sure!

Just to be on the safe side ,I have not mentioned this mysterious team by name!

Not that I believe rumors or anything like that!
