We'll see if October 20th brings it. But I'm worried because I couldn't access the Washington State Secretary of State's site to check my voter status. It wasn't available! And before a big election!!!

Republicans have had that control for 40+ years, I hope Jason Osgood wins. I don't trust Republicans.

1. I just got mine yesterday in Mason County.
Also, their site is up and running now:

I don't trust them, either, but don't panic quite yet :)

2. OK, I'll wait for the 20th but Darcy Burner's email said
that ballots have already arrived in homes. I usually get mine early but not this time.
Thanks!

6. The guy I talked to in Pierce County said they're mailing next batch on the 24th.
I don't know which County you're in. Pierce County has those express vote drop places, I don't know about the other ones. I forget sometimes how well run this State is sometimes, I have flashbacks to my years in California where it took everything three times as long to do anything.

You could totally call your local Elections office in whatever county you're in. They were very helpful to me when I was rendered "inactive" all of a sudden.

7. Still no ballot, maybe 10-22-08? Anyone still waiting?
I was a DCM and a county delegate -and I have no illusions about just how nasty Republicans can be. And a Republican is in charge of this thing... so I'm worried. They'd plant Republicans in our precinct meetings trying to add a plank to our platform, like privatizing Soc. Sec. slowly.
