Boycott: Wineries - Chateau Ste. Michelle, Columbia Crest, Snoqualmie
Edited on Tue Nov-30-04 02:17 PM by bettys boy
All are subsidiaries of UST, a tobacco giant that is a major GOP contributor:

The full brand list:

Washington wineries:

Chateau Ste. Michelle
Northstar
Col Solare
Red Diamond
Columbia Crest
Snoqualmie
Domaine Ste. Michelle
Stimson Estate Cellars

California wineries:

Conn Creek
Villa Mt. Eden

To give up Ste. Michelle rieslings and gewurtztraminers breaks my heart...

9. Done and done...
It'll be too bad to give up the gewurtztrauminers, but some things are more important than wine.

I can overlook a small differential in the donations of the companies that I buy from, but an 82% to 18% split in favor of the republicans is something I can't overlook...

6. I'll try. My husband and I get adventurous and try different wines, but
we always go back to our favorite.

5. Ste. Michelle always has good quality wines.
But I've already stopped buying from them. It hurts, but there are many other great wineries out there that aren't working toward our destruction.
