Fight Tim Eyman

Dear Friend,

With the initiative season in full swing, Tim Eyman and others are once again working hard to erode critical services and even expand gambling in our communities.

More than ever, paid signature gatherers are congregating outside shopping centers, hardware stores and sporting events looking to make a quick buck off our name and address.

In an effort to educate voters on the impacts of initiatives and restore integrity to the process, the Voter Education Committee -- funded primarily by public sector employee unions -- is working with hundreds of volunteers to identify the whereabouts of paid signature gatherers.

We need your help to protect essential human services:

1. Please call the Voter Education Hotline at (800) 856-2465 and report the whereabouts of paid signature gatherers. It is critical we know where they are.

2. Volunteer some time to educate voters about the effects of Tim Eyman's initiatives by calling the Hotline or by responding to this email.

David Goldstein, who originated the horse's ass campaign (to have a citizen initiative on the ballot formally declaring Eyman a horse's ass) has transmuted his website into taxsanity.org, which tries to inject a little sense into Eyman's rants and asinine initiatives.
