My fellow West Virginians -- it's GOTV time!
I just spent four hours on the phone, doing get-out-the-vote calls at Kanawha County Democratic HQ. It was a hoot! I left a lot of phone messages, but also talked to dozens of committed Democrats who are eager to vote for anyone and everyone with a big D behind their names.

While I was there, a woman on bed rest was driven to HQ, to get instructions on how to make and report on the phone calls. During the time that she is required to stay in bed, she intends to be on the phone making sure that West Virginians vote for the Democratic slate of candidates.

So now it's time for you to step up, my friends.

There are West Virginia Democratic HQ locations in Martinsburg, Huntington, Oak Hill, Glenville, Lewisburg, Clarksburg, Ripley, Charles Town, South Charleston, Fairmont, Moundsville, Princeton, Morgantown, Wheeling, Beckley, Elkins, Spencer, Grafton, and Parkersburg. All of those sites could use your help -- for GOTV calls and canvassing, data entry, putting up signs, all kinds of things.

If you want to help, go to http://wvdemocrats.com/volunteer.html, fill in your email, and the state party folks will be in touch. Or send me a private message, and I'll be happy to give you the contact info for your local Democratic Headquarters.

Let's get out the vote!
