Come Protest the Bush Rally in Wheeling WV, Sun 8/29

(P)resident Bush will be holding a Rally in Wheeling WV on Sunday 8/29 at 2:15 pm at an as yet announced location.

Want to show him how you feel? Come out and protest!

Meet up at 12:30 pm at:

Ironworkers Local Union 549
2350 Main St
Wheeling, WV 26003-2814

Bring signs, comfy shoes and a great attitude!

I called the Ohio County, WV dem HQ in Wheeling and asked them if there was anyone planning to protest, and they put me in touch with Rick.

He is with the Mine Workers Union, so hopefully there will be a bunch of people there.

Hey guys.....
I am new to DU, but have been lurking for a while! I decided to pop in here and see if there were any protests for the rally here in Wheeling :headbang:

I hope there is a good turnout, and I am going to do my best to rearrange things to be there!

5. Great!

Hope that you can make it. It will be interesting to see how close we can get. I was at the Protest in Cambridge, OH. and we were not allowed to stand on a public street outside of the secure area with a sign - even though the street was filled with other people, some with signs supporting Bush, waiting for his motorcade to pass by.

We shall see what happens...
