Recall group aims to grow, take on Doyle

I don't about you, but I'm getting sick of these guys. The recall has its place in the political process, but this is getting out of hand. A routine vote on an issue does not justify a recall. Those are reserved for gross misconduct in office!

I had no idea who they were or why they're after Mayor Cieslewicz in Madison. I doubt they'll get 35,000 signatures.

2. Mayor Cieslewicz is considered an "Evil Liberal"

to them and I believe he used to be the director of 1000 Friends of Wisconsin. This group supported Comprehensive Planning which according to the conspiratorial paranoiacs is leading us down the path of damnation and slavery to foreign masters.

Almost to the point of being mafia-like.

And as I believe it was Shoelace that mentioned in another thread, this group tries to pass itself off as non-partisan grassroots although they are very conservative idealogically.

I hope the people of Madison hand them their asses.

This was the top story above the fold in Monday's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (what liberal media?) and ran as an abbreviated article on page three of the Local section in Tuesday's Wisconsin State Journal
