email your representative

Was talking with my representative (Wausau area), Donna Seidel, yesterday and she asked me to email her about the proposed ammendment against gay marriage. She said legislators like to go into the argument and be able to say how many calls, letters or emails they have received on any issue. I plan on doing this and also my thoughts on concealed gun carry. Legislators do listen, at least some of them do.

I often even email reprensentatives that are not mine. I have all the WI state senators in my address book as a group and copy them all on some emails to the governor, etc. You are lucky having one from the human species. I have Jerry Petrowski.

Thanks for the invite but I have to curl Thursday night. Sen. Breske came to one of our Dem. meetings recently and gave a very good talk on gas prices and just what the Transportation Committee does. I never knew they were responsible for so many different things.
