Nader poll called tonight

I got an automated polling call tonight asking (a) how certain that you will vote, (b) who will you vote for--Bush, Kerry, or Nader, (c) although you aren't supporting Nader, how much chance that you could switch to him?

Has anyone else received this call?

On a related note, this notice is on the State Elections Board site:

A special meeting of the State Elections Board is scheduled for Tuesday, September 21, 2004. This meeting will be held in the Brookfield Common Council Chambers, 2000 North Calhoun Road, Brookfield, Wisconsin at 1:30 p.m. to decide the challenge to Nader/Camejo nomination petitions.

1. I can't believe that he would do a poll. Does he actually think he

can win, or is this a feeler to see if he could really make a difference? Or, maybe it wasn't a Nader poll at all. Maybe it was a Pub poll checking to see if it's worth their time and money to support Nader.

Just to get Nader's name out there.

Of course, for this to work thousands would have to be called. Normal polls only call hundreds.

6. Woman at our Dem meeting last night said she was polled too.

No one else seemed to have gotten the call though. She's rabid Dem and would never vote Green so I'm not sure why they called her.

Do they have plans to blanket the Dems in the state over the next few days or just doing a sampling to see if it's worth the effort?
