Waukesha is one of the most reliably Red counties in the country.
Canvassing there will be an experience.

2. The number of Democrats in Waukesha is huge
It's just that there are more Republicans, but this year there may be fewer than usual.

6. That might well be...
They vote like crazy in Waukesha County. You could hold an uncontested primary election from 1:30 - 3:30 a.m. on a Wednesday in the dead of winter and I SWEAR you'd get 70% turnout.

5. Waukesha County
Is the third-largest source of Democratic votes in the state of Wisconsin (behind Milwaukee and Dane County). In Brookfield-Elm Grove (where I live) there were 9,000 votes for Kerry in 2004. Problem was, there were about 25,000 Republican votes.
