More BS from the local republican hack
The Obama campaign is making a push for supporters in Marathon County and statewide to vote early, and there has not been an equivalent effort among Republicans.

This week, Democratic legislators including U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold, Gov. Jim Doyle and U.S. Rep. Dave Obey appeared at "Vote Early for Change" events statewide. About 60 people attended a similar Obama campaign event in Wausau last week, with many of them casting votes that day.

Local McCain campaign spokesman Kevin Hermening said Democrats are trying to make up for a structural disadvantage. In past elections, a smaller percentage of registered Democrats made it to the polls compared with registered Republicans.

"People who tend to vote Republican tend to have a higher turnout nationally anyway, without being implored to do it," Hermening said.

During the last presidential election they had poll watchers sitting AT the tables next to the poll workers taking down the names of those who voted. They would enter information on their Blackberries (which McCain did NOT invent) and then step out to make phone calls to those republican's that hadn't showed up yet, I think that might be construed to mean they were indeed imploring people to vote.
Last time around they had the gall to ask poll workers to write down the names of the voters down while the poll watcher went to the restroom (probably really going out to call in voters) This was illegal as they are not to interfere with the electoral process.
We're getting ready we have a small army of lawyers ready to match the RNC lawyers being sent into the state.
